The path to yoga is often long and winding. Like many who've come to utilize the method, poor health and emotional instability brought yoga into my life. I started teaching yoga in April 2007 after receiving the 200 RYT certification from Avalon Yoga International and the Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist certification from California College of Ayurveda. Since then I have taught over 6,000 hours of weekly yoga classes, workshops, training, and retreats. I am a faculty member of Avalon Yoga International and Yoga @ Cindy's. My style is fluid and emphasizes creative sequencing. I specialize in Yin, Restorative, Yoga Nidra, and Flow yoga. My inspiration comes from many teachers and methods as I continue to explore various holistic modalities that encompass nutrition, body movement, and meditation.
After Graduating from FIT, New York City in fashion design in 1995, I worked for a few well known fashion companies in New York City including Armani Exchange, DKNY, and cK Calvin Klein. I grew up in Thailand and did professional modeling and acting during the high school and college years before relocating to the United States. Today, my main creative outlet is designing each and every yoga class I teach. Others include writing, illustration, and choreography. I live in San Jose, California with my husband Eric and our dog Moon. Yoga has helped me integrate and maintain homeostasis in all aspects of life. Yoga of Intention is the product of my dedication as well as the gift this lifelong practice has given me. I hope to share the knowledge with those intending to maintain the outer balance through the inner harmony.
